Instructions to Make Honey Sriracha Chicken Thighs

Prepare Ingredients

Caramelize onion with a drizzle of olive oil in a separate pan until the onion is soft and brown, almost make the onions look the color of caramel.

Coat chicken thighs in Sriracha, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, red pepper flakes, lemon pepper, thyme, paprika and honey. Quick marinade for 5-10 minutes.

Cook chicken thighs in a drizzle of olive oil in a dutch oven on medium heat. Outsides of chicken thighs should be brown and crispy – 2 to 3 minutes on each side.

Continue to cook chicken, now on lower heat than medium, and cook until it is no longer pink . I like to simmer the chicken on low for at least 30.

Heat up entire jar of pasta sauce in saucepan for the time it takes the chicken to cook. I like to simmer on low-medium low for 30 minutes, or as long as possible.

Cook pasta quantity of your choice per box directions. I cooked roughly 8 oz.

Assemble all the components together and you are done! The chicken is super flavorful and a nice addition to the tomato based pasta sauce.
