Sharing on the blog today 5 holiday dress styles perfect for your next holiday work party, winter wedding guest dress, and festive get-together. Read along as I share what each dress looks like on my size 12 frame and which dress is my favorite! Unfortunately the ruffle one-shoulder dress did not arrive in my correct size and is not pictured.

From the get-go I was looking for a green lace option and these two styles are so flattering in person. I am leaning towards the longer hem right below the knee as I feel it makes me look a little taller. Both are fit-and-flare styles that hug your curves and cinch in your waist (which I need)!
The material is on the cheap side and the zipper is hard to zip even on the hanger, but for Amazon quality I am happy. Even with shipping delays everything arrived within a week.
Reviews said this dress was thin and they were not fibbing, it’s paper thin! I was wear a slip and be prepared for the bottom slit to ride up. I did like the front twist around my midsection but overall not the best option for me.

This dress would have been a no-brainer and made the top of the list if not for the high slit that goes right to your crotch. I am 5’4″ for reference and the dress was short. Sitting down would be near impossible without flashing someone. Velvet material was not scratchy at all and really liked the wrap effect around the waist.
